What we receive
When you buy, we may receive your name, email address, PayPal order and transaction references, products purchased, price, consent record and technical information needed to provide and secure downloads. We do not receive or store your full card number, card security code or Apple Pay device account number.
Why we use it
- To fulfil your order and provide secure downloads.
- To send order information and respond to support requests.
- To keep accounting, fraud-prevention and legal records.
- To maintain the security and reliability of the service.
These uses are necessary to perform the purchase contract, meet legal obligations and pursue legitimate interests in operating a secure shop. Marketing will require a separate choice.
Who processes it
PayPal processes payments under its own privacy notice. Our website hosting, database, file storage and transactional email providers process limited data on our instructions. Information may be processed outside the UK with appropriate safeguards where required.
How long we keep it
We retain order and accounting records for the period required by tax and company law. Secure download tokens expire after seven days. Support messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed to resolve and document the issue.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or data portability. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Contact us first if you would like us to help.
Cookies and local storage
The basket uses storage in your browser so selected products remain available between pages. PayPal may use cookies or similar technologies when its secure checkout is loaded. We do not use the purchase information described here to sell personal data.
